Dan began his career with the local firm of Dieterman, Linden, Manske & Strassburger, PC. In 1989, that firm merged with Plante & Moran, creating the current Grand Rapids office. In 1993, Dan started his own firm, DeHoek & Company, PLLC. Dan’s expertise includes tax, accounting and financial services for small businesses, professional firms, non-profits and individuals. In addition, he is accredited in Business Valuation by the AICPA and has extensive experience as an expert witness in Circuit and District court. In the financial services area, Dan has successfully completed both the Series 7 and 66 exams.

Jon’s responsibilities include business, individual, and non-profit tax return preparation, auditing, and bookkeeping. He joined our team in 2014, earned his Bachelor’s degree from GVSU in 2016, his EA in 2018, and his CPA in 2021.

Renee joined our team in 2007. She is originally from the Grand Rapids area and attended Davenport University. Renee’s focus is on Accounting, Payroll, Bookkeeping & Individual Tax Preparation. She also provides A/R, A/P and HR services for the firm. Renee enjoys working with various small businesses and assisting them with their bookkeeping needs.
When she is not working, she can usually be found up north boating at her cottage with her family, friends & dogs.

Nikki joined DeHoek & Company as an Accounting Assistant in the fall of 2022. She has extensive experience in both Healthcare and Non-Profit companies tracking and maintaining financial data, including payroll, tax preparation and office management.

After 20 years in the south, Nikki moved back to Grand Rapids and enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and dogs.
